2020 Introduction of the Programs/Fees

NICO PROJECT charges 5,000yen for transaction fee upon enrollment.

The project provides half- or full- tuition scholarships so that children of non-Japanese single parents or children belonging to households with unstable income can focus on learning.

[Daytime Course]
First time Japanese “Pre class”

This is a short, speed-learning class for kids and youngsters who are just beginning to study Japanese.
Through concentrated study of four or six blocks a day x 5 days a week for a total of 20 sessions, individuals will be able to comprehend simple communication in Japanese, and can easily apply this to school life.

    Children and youngsters between 11 to their 30s who have not studied Japanese
  • [Contents]
    Beginning Japanese grammar/conversation/listening/reading/characters and vocabulary, etc.

Monday-Friday 9:10~15:00(50min×5=250mins)

Teaching material fees 8,000yen.(Same text books are used in Pre-Class and Bridge Class)

 

[Daytime Course]
Beginner Japanese “Bridge Class”

This is a short, speed-learning class for kids and youngsters at a beginner Japanese level. Through concentrated study of four or six blocks a day x 5 days a week for a total of 20 sessions, Japanese language ability is cultivated with a foundation on studies at school through participation and movement.

    Children and youngsters between 11 to their 30s who are at a certain Japanese language level (level of Pre Class completion)
  • [Contents]
    Late-stage beginning Japanese grammar/conversation/listening/reading/characters and vocabulary, etc.

[Daytime Course]
Intermediate Japanese “Jump Class”

Class corresponding to the needs of those who are proficient in school life and everyday life, but want to increase their Japanese abilities an additional step.Through concentrated study of one session of six blocks x 2 days a week, Japanese language ability is cultivated, allowing individuals to clearly comprehend classes at school.

    Children and youngsters between 11 to their 30s who have completed Bridge Class or have the equivalent Japanese language abilities.

    Intermediate Japanese grammar/conversation/listening/reading/characters and vocabulary, etc.

[Daytime Course, A year-round program]
High School Advancement Preparation “Prep Class”

This is a continuing studies preparation class for third-year middle school students and youngsters 15 and up who aim to advance to high school in Japan. Cultivates career building skills, Japanese language abilities necessary for entrance examination and post-advancement, and fundamental scholastic abilities necessary for high school testing in Japan.

    Individuals aiming to advance into high school in Japan, for kids and youngsters above 15, and third-year middle school students who are at a certain Japanese language level (level of Bridge Class completion)
  • [Contents]
    Study of subjects (5 subjects including Japanese language)/high school advancement support (career consulting, provision of testing information, support for application completion, etc.), career education (comprehension of jobs, financial education, etc.)
Schedule
Monday-Friday  10:10~15:00(50min×4=200mins)

Teaching material fees: First half 10,000 yen / Second half 10,000 yen (2,000 yen per subject)

 

[Japanese: Zero to Beginner]
NICO Kids: Mitsuba Class / Yotsuba Class

This is a conversation class for children who are learning Japanese for the first time and who are between the ages of 6 and 10. This class is offered online only.

    Children between the ages of 6 and 10 years old, with a Japanese level of zero beginner (Mitsuba) to beginner (Yotsuba)

    Japanese conversation, listening, reading, and language (learning through reading aloud, singing, and hand play)
